REQUIREMENTS

Possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences or in Applied Engineering or possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In case of having gotten a degree in another country, it needs to be equivalent to one of the mentioned degrees.

Ensure a primary level of general education in the scope of the discipline, allowing them to successfully overcome the program’s academic requirements. For this reason, students must confirm an average grade of 5.0 or higher and not have registered more than 5.0 failed courses during the period of undergraduate education.

Accredit having experience, basic competencies, and motivation for teaching or research.

Accredit English proficiency in reading comprehension of technical and scientific texts. For this, students must have approved the English courses of their undergraduate studies.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Tuition Extension Scholarship (Academic Vice Presidency): It consists of the complete or partial financing of the corresponding tuition. The registration fee is not included and must be paid entirely by the student body of the university.

Research Support Scholarship: It consists of money granted to graduate students, so they participate in relevant activities for their education such as scientific congresses or research stays.

Financial Aid Scholarship: It consists of an amount of money for the personal expense of the grant holder.

Staff Scholarship: It consists of a 50% discount in the tuition fee and the registration fee for being an academic of the Universidad de Santiago or part of the administrative staff.
